ounded on a belief that a garden is more
than just an assemblage of plants, Mondo
Landscapes creates spaces for people -
where family and friends come together.
The award-winning landscaping company’s
impressive portfolio showcases unique and
functional luxury resort-style landscapes and
outdoor living spaces.
A natural sense of taste and style combined
with a personal approach with each client is
reflected in every project by Mondo Landscapes.
With superior attention to detail, Mondo
Landscapes’ expertise encompasses all facets of
outdoor design. From formal and contemporary to
tropical or Mediterranean, the team will tailor your
garden to suit. They will also work closely with the
best interior designers, architects and builders in
the industry to bring your project to life.
The owners of this home were eager to renovate
their garden themselves, but were hesitant to go
ahead without proper planning. They asked Mondo
Landscapes to come up with a design, which they
then implemented over several stages. The clean
lines of the house are reflected in defined sections
of planting, while raised garden beds add texture.
Waterwise plants, such as variegated flax lily,
frangipani and dwarf magnolia were selected,
making the yard easy to care for.
At the front, a stone-clad wall with
bullnosing gives the owners a place to perch
and watch the street, while richly coloured
timber decking emphasises the exterior wall
colour. This aesthetic flows through to the
back of the home, where the alfresco area
decking creates a spacious feel.
The result proves DIY success can be achieved,
if there’s professional help in the planning stages.
