The brief from the owners was to renovate their
existing landscape pool area to enhance the
materials and flow of the space.
eScape developed ways of opening up the pool
fencing to allow better flow between the pool area
and remainder of the garden.
Custom vertical cedar batten fencing was used
in combination with the relocated existing pool
fencing to open up the space in the pool area.
Selected sandstone paving with a mitered
pool edge was used, while pool capping creates
a thickened, square edge to the existing pool to
maintain the contemporary feel.
A timber deck offers visual interest and breaks
up the paving and spa area.
Up-lighting enhances the entertaining
space for summer parties, while a combination
of semi-tropical feature planting and bamboo
screening provides a structure to the garden and
visual connection to the home.
