mass planting of native and drought-tolerant
plants. e garden caters for all members of the
family with the front garden designed for adults
and the rear for the children.
e back garden features buffalo grass and a
range of colourful plants for children and the front
is more refined for adults. e garden is designed
by Marmol Radziner & Associates in Los Angeles.
The garden features a raised vegetable planter that complements
the sunken kitchen facing the garden and pool.
The element of water links a corridor of exterior spaces -- swimming

spaces at the sunken kitchen.

climate. Such plants include the coastal live oak, valley oak, deer
grass and African sumac.
